Reiki is an ancient hands on healing, during treatment the hands are placed on the recipient's body in different positions and are held there for several minutes, where the life energy flows through the therapist and to the recipient. A treatment can take anywhere from 1 to 1 1/2 hours and is said to be the equivalent of 3 to 4 hours sleep.
